Groundspace Project is pleased to present Recondite Substance, a group exhibition of  Los Angeles based artists, Nena Amsler, Jonna Lee, Caryl St. Ama and William Solomon; artists whose works delve into rich interplay between organic abstraction and concrete materiality.

In-between Sun and Moon

In-between Sun and Moon is a collaborative installation/performance art project that explores the in- between spaces of otherness, gender and displacement. With this exhibition Takeshi Kanemura and Snezana Saraswati Petrovic are continuing the artistic dialogue reflecting on the polarities of private vs public space.

Each weekend there will be new performance art piece with more collaborators:

  • 02/27 “New Moon” with Mark Dennis McConnell
  • 03/5   “Eclipse” with Mark Dennis McConnell
  • 03/12  “Misty Moon” with Mei Hotta
  • 03/19 “Full Moon” with Satomi Akutsu, Hiroshi Simizu, and Ranwakawa

Groundspace Project is an artist-run alternative space located just east of the 4th Street bridge in downtown Los Angeles.
Exhibition hours are Friday and Saturday, 1 to 6 pm.
